Oil on wheels

Car  soon to be a 200
Was cleaning the car at the weekend and found this on the passengers side wheel and the rear drivers side . In the flesh it looked like oil any ideas .

i failed mot because of something like this. The gaiter on the drive shaft cv joint had come loose and was causing grease to spry onto the wheels, maybe worth having a look?
 
Take wheel off & look on inside.

Some of that tyre shine s**t does that ;)
 
hmmm, actually, after reading it properly...lol. Wouldnt say cv boot unless was the front wheels and it was like grease (smear) if its on both front and rear then id say theres a good chance it will be tyre shine or something! be very unlucky to have brake fluid on two wheels!
