Oil Pressure Gauge

  Bumder With A Buffer
Is it easy/possible to monitor Oil pressure on a 1*2??

Something I always missed from my valver for some reason :(

Im guessing all that would be need is a pressure sensor of some sort but where would it go?

easy.

Buy an oil gauge which usually comes with a sensor/sender kit, then fit it to an oil takeoff (usually the pressure warning switch location) using an extended adaptor.

Yea, the green sender.

deally fit a take off with a length of braided hose to remote mount both the new and old sensor on a T peice.

Always bloody tinkering.... Ona side note if you get it sorted at adecent enough price I could be interested :) x

I did. It's the blue plate under the oil filter in the above pic. Just a default off the shelf one. Nothing special or hard to source.

So once a sandwich plate or whatever is fitted just need is the gauge and an appropriate sensor correct?

had issues with inferior rubber seals on sandwich plates in the past so i dont use them, but yeah, they're an option

Well don't buy cheap ones then! I've never had an issue with them and have used them on everything from Nobles to Novas for oil cooler take offs and temp/pressure take offs.

Cheers
