oil pressure in valver

what does it mean when the oil pressure dial doesnt move?

im pretty sure its working because it moves a slight bit sometimes (i mean like 1 notch) but surley thats not right?

It either means you have low pressure, or, the senders probably had it! :)

Could even mean the dials actually had it too, heh.

possible, but the temp sensor is conected to the pressure sensor in some way isnt it? so if the temps working (which it is) then the pressure should work shouldnt it?

Nope.

Pressure Guage Sender is on the back of the block. Oil temp/level is on the front of the block.

Mine never works properly either - seems to pick and choose whether to work or not at random! lol

You shoulda got a new sender fitted then! :rasp:

Mine's broke too.. stopped working when cold but then started up about 5mins later..

Now, it moves, but just REALLY lazy...

Need a new one really.. £50 I think from Renault?

generally the connection is the issue, try bridging the existing connection to the block connector on the dial. I did know the correct wire to wire it in to. try checking the spade to the sender
