Oil Temp & pressure Gauges in 172's. What your readings ?

I have just fitted Oil Temperature and Oil Pressure Gauges in my 172.

And i'm using fresh 5w40 fully synthetic oil.

I was wandering if there is anyone else with these gauges fitted to there 172/182's ?

And if so what readings are they getting from them ?

By that i mean,

• What Oil temperature are you getting with the car fully warmed up (running for half hour or longer) ?
• What is the oil pressure reading at say 70mph in 5th gear ?
• And the oil pressure at 4000rpm and 5000rpm ?
• And what is the oil pressure at idle (just under 1,000rpm) once fully warmed up.
• After a good rag/thrash ?
• And what oil your using (to see if it makes any diference to readings) :S

As i want to see if my readings are close

long overdue bump...

mine sits at 6bar on cold idle and about 2bar on warm idle

motorway is 3-4 bar and pressing on it can go to 6

I'll check my readings to yours when i refit the senders.

I removed them as they were leaking
