Ok, 8 years in and finally the Cup broke :(

Well I broke it.
Driving down some country roads.... car coming the other way so turn high beams off... none of us see the massive puddle in front of us that we both hit at the same time... must've been quite deep as he sent a wave over my windscreen... 2 mins later further down the road and the cars gone into limp mode. :(

Gonna leave it for now and see if it dries out.

Any other ideas?

  Whichever has fuel
Take as much of the engine apart as you can and let it all dry out.

(Coil pack, airbox, leads, plugs etc)

and prey! lol.

just hope youve not got any in your engine (cylinders) stripping the intake, plugs etc will leave the water somewhere to go if you crank the motor. The last thing you want is to hydraulic the engine.....:dapprove:
