ok, finally pics of latest task.....

took a nice trip in the pouring rain a little way up the M1, M6 (at about 15 miles an hour).. then M42.

Some of you may already of guessed when i ended up but for those unsure here are my pics.......

so will someone call me a toss*r and say not to worry, just one of the rear springs does look far more squished than the other....

Springs take time to settle. Depends if you drive round corners one way more then the other that theyll sit quicker, plus your sat on 1 side so more weight. Give it a few weeks and should be sorted

cheers mate.... i was so bored i even started to count the number of coils on each spring... thought theyd sent me a 40 and a 60 in the kit, coz thats about the difference in height.

i think it looks nice and subtle.. well worth the trip to see fred.

I pretty much stood in the garage while he got soaked.... gave him a few beers and cash though for his efforts.

which side of the car do you sit on???

or in other words, which side of the car has the most weight??

thats normal, clios are very sensetive (ride height wise)

even if you park in the middle of the salt flats, itll still be 5mm out

im gonna have to buy your services fred, i need to fit my springs, seeing as i liv in north wales and every frickin garage ive been 2 are so confused when i say i got 4 springs to fit all i get back is "are u sure its not 2 springs"..........no u frikin farmer boi its a clio 172...:cry:....if u read this fred are u a busy man..............ill b sort of passin u, next friday and then the following (bank holiday) monday, i could do with your help

Mine sits at different heights sometimes, depends on the ground level, whether its perfectly flat or not.
