OK! seriously! H&R’s -V- FK Coilovers!

  BMW 320d Sport

Id go for H&R cos to me theyre a known quantity. FK I know nothing about. Any coilovers will slam a car so far that you cant even drive it if thats what you want, so lowering possibilties dont really come into it.

  Polo + Micra

i cant say about the h&rs but if they are better than the fks then they must be fecking amazing:D

75 front 55 rear is the max you can drop my h&rs cant comment on FKs but ive been well happy with the quality of the kit and the handling of my h&rs

  Clio 190bhp Hybrid

H&R more well known, pricier but not sure if better. FK use Koni internals, come with lifetime warranty if fitted by a FK authorised supplier. POssibly cheaper.

Both are german, TUV approved etc so not much in it really.

Got my FKs fitted at Performance Driven in Taunton. Well set up and tehy offered free fitting. May still have offers on.

They have a website, search on google.

  Clio II and Grand Modus

I got H&R and I can say they are just awesome, 2. to none but also a bit pricey.........Don´t think you can feel any difference from the FK´s when you drive ect. On the lowest the ride is not stupid hard, still a good mix betwenn handling and comfort. But still it´s sits very firm and solid:D= your girl friend will say it´s hard!!!;)

H&R will lower aprox. 75mm front but thats a no go on 17´s and 65mm rear.

Well the hardness of the ride wont change whatever the ride height. The damping and spring rate stay the same, unless you actually manually adjust them. However the lower the ride height, the more you NEED a hard ride if only to take any movement out of the suspension that could foul on bodywork if you hit a bump. Kind of misses the point of having suspension though LOL

X 200+ cup, now focus RS

H+Rs every time, got them on my cup now and there spot on, FKs are cheeeep and chearfull, had them on my corsa and the ride was soft and the handlin was crap, but it goes back to looks or track!!! if you go for FKs and you do track days treat yourself to a roll cage, (you will need it)
