Well to cut a long story short, I went out for a meal Saturday night which I wasn't looking forward too, or better yet deciding whether to even go to.. As we arrived, sitting in the forecourt across from the restraunt car park sat a beautiful 200! To say the least, what an expsensive carvery it turned out to be! Test drove it the following morning and put the deposit down, pick it up a week today!

Has all the goods apart from Recaros which I will more than likely buy & install sooner or later, but really looking forward to getting the mods on the go as it's my first RS of any shape. Just need to sell the other Clio now!

Look forward to keeping this thread updated & will post more pictures after I pick it up on Sunday!

Bet you are glad you went out in the end eh :)

Enjoy the car. I was set on getting a 197 Cup with the Recaro's but in ended up with the standard seats which i find are more than adequate for road driving; very comfy on long journeys and offer good support when you're on a spirited drive.

Yeah was quite a let down but the Nav makes up for it eh! ;)

Haha very glad!

Can't say I've ever sat in 197/200 recaros so can't make judgement on them, but I found the standard seats really comfortable to be fair, didn't expect the bolsters to comfort me as much as they did!

Same with me bro wasn't out to get one but I went to Chester and found my 200 on the fourecoirt and fell in love so I got it lol. Mine has the sunroof and sat nav and the spoiler but lacks the recaros haha!!!!!

I like the debadged rear. I will do that on mine. looking forward to updates :)

So I picked it up at 11 this morning and I'm speechless! Really am, such a fun car to drive!

Done some little bits today, got the silver visions off my old car, got the deflectors on, and did an LED upgrade on the rear end. Just waiting for the interior LED bulbs too arrive!

Not a major update, but gave the seat belts a good going over as they were a mess! Used the old wife's tail of bi-carb sodar and vinegar. MINT!

Ordering a new set of shoes in the next couple of weeks too. :)

that's an amazing transformation with the belts man, will give that a go for sure on mine as they are supposed to be yellow haha.

looking forward to the updates :)

All the white effect upholstery ie. the belts, bolsters on the seats and steering wheel stitching was so grubby! All have come up well now though. Almost like new!

My steering wheel stitching was horribly dirty! The centre stitching at the top of the wheel was so dirty it was almost brown.. When I scrubbed it & left it, it was actually yellow! Amazing what the stuff does [emoji106]

Put enough vinegar in to do whatever you need to do, then add the bi-carb until it makes a paste, you don't want it too runny! Then apply and leave for 5 minutes. I then hoover it off and go over it with boiling hot water mixed with an arial clothes liquid and brush it over.. Then rinse it off with a hose and you'll be sorted!

Got my Stuke winglets on today, didn't like the loud STUKE sticker, so replaced it with some tidy Autofinesse ones!

Other than that, just awaiting for my other car to sell before I crack on with the proper mods!

Looks great, I'll be trying the seatbelt trick myself next weekend! Those winglets look good too, wonder what they'd be like on an R26.

Tell me how you get on! I haven't seen any done on a R26 as of yet so give it a bash!

Try it, again, I haven't seen any on a R250 either yet! I'll get some better pics up soon..

Nice mate! Good effort on getting one with the sat-nav aswell!

On the minus side....the cup spoiler. Take it off and put it in the bin lol
