Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
how are you finding the Jms RS2 now you have had it for a while?
seriously considering it for when my cars on the road.
seems like the best option for just a road car/odd track day, would i be right?
I'll have had it fitted 2 weeks on Monday; I'm just as impressed now as the day I picked it up.
I'm unsure of what power it will make and results I've seen from other cars seem to vary (as will all modifications really), but regardless of that, I love the way the car drives and feels.
I find the power delivery to be very different to standard, it's much smoother and progressive.
The noise is quite addictive too! Grumbling muffled intake noise low down and then an incredible roar top end! I love it!
Being unmapped at present, it's difficult to give an opinion on the complete package, as I understand the mapping to bring it all together nicely; so far though, I'm very impressed with the RS2.
I thought the RS2 would be the more sensible option on an every day daily use car, yeah.
As I've said before though, there are probably owners of ITB equipped cars who would say they're no problem being used on a daily basis too. It's just personal choice really; I tend to think of and association ITB's as a more hardcore track/race focused product.
There's a good few RS2'd car knocking around as almost all the group buy kits have been fitted now. See if there's anyone local and blag a ride!
