On the "Extreme" models can you.........

  Clio 1.5 DCI
Change the horrid green/turquoise dash inserts and door panels for those found in the Dynamique range?

I've found a really nice car, perfect for my needs but I just cant stand the above!

Cheers,
Dan

Yes you can. Dash inserts are easy to change and come up on here all the time. Interior will also fit and sometimes comes up on here or ebay, otherwise a scrappy.

You could always put in a sport leather interior.

Ahh thats good news. I can live the seats but not the dash/door cars!

Next question, whats different between the dynamique and extreme models?

Depends what year mate. I had a 2004 dynamique before my 182. The extreme models are limited edition each year so were always different.

Usually, its things like extremes not having headrests in the back and no alloys, etc.

Dynamique is top of the range so usually has everything.

Just be glad you don't have the initiale interior. Wooden dash trims are very 2002.

Doh! Really? I thought extremes were one off's that came above the dynamique range. The cars a deffo no no then :( 2002/2003 is the age i'm looking at btw.

I've got an extreme and it has everthing the dynamique has. Rear headrests, alloys wheels, dynamique spoiler etc. BTW mine is a 2002 extreme.

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
extremes were the low spec "sport" models, the dynamiques is the one to go for.
i thin it wa slike budget was authentique then expression, then luxury it was pivalege and intale, then sport was extreme and dynamique.

but what I tend to find is alot if inconsistancy with extremes spec wise, there were a lot of ones with a few options which make it pretty much the same as a dynamique.

  Mondeo ST220
My extreme was exactly the same spec as a dynamique just with the different interior. That was a 2002 model by the way. Had the dynamique alloys, all headrests, fogs etc...

The extreme is the most expensive...so how is it the "low spec"????

in the parkers guide..the 53 plate dynamiques sell for around £3-4k where as the
53 plate extreme is £5k.
The extreme 2 is far better than any of the others imo.

New the extreme was cheaper, in the renault spec structure extreme is below dynamique.

new the 1.2 extreme 2 was £8500, new the 1.2 dynamique was £9k

second hand the difference is still present. using parkers a53 plate extreme 2 is 3.5k and a 53 dynamique is 3.9k

Done my own bit of research on parkers and according to that site - Extreme (1) is higher spec than (Extreme 2 & 3) ?!

It looks like the car I am after is an "Extreme" (1). As it has the alloys / headrests and everything else a normal dynamique would have. Just with the addition of the gay inserts!

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
they are also very slightly cheaper to insure the extremes than the dynamique.
you can spray the inserts all it cost is about £10 for spraypaint and a bit of patience, just make sure you do the gear knob insert too, or else it looks funny lol.

whats you budgets BTW ther is aboy on here stormforce it hink hes called selling a cracking dynamique i dentical to mine with same milage mine had when i bought it (14k) for only 4k! which is a great price for a 2004

My extreme 2 has headrests as standard.
