o2 are cheeky cnuts, the prices they are asking are scandelous. when mine was jailbroken i had pdanet installed and used tethering fine, all of a sudden they have seen an opportunity to rape us more.

And they only come free out of the first 500 messages you send, if you have the unlimited text bolt on then you'll get charged for the MMS once you've used up your 500 inclusive texts.

You do get charged for them once your bundle is used up!

Just checked my bill and as I had been abroad it used my bundle texts instead of my unlimited bolt on so had no bundle texts left, been charged 21p each!

^That's not a new function, it was hidden in the Passcode Lock menu in 2.2.1 and before. Still a PITA, I wish you could disable the whole thing, and instead it just placed a small envelope next to the battery of something...

Yeah, this was a major gripe for me until I had to relent and put passcode lock on, my missus would send text filth and it'd be there for anybody to see, quite why they didn't implement this in V2 was odd in itself.

It is. Prior to 3.0 the only way to turn off SMS preview was to enable the passcode lock. It should have been available as a separate option from the start.

Are you sure?I seem to remeber it being seperate but im not 100%
