Yeah the beta is still running, I'd imagine the release date will be announced during WWDC.

Rumour i read on the net just now saying that the new iphone will not be announced at the conference but at another event scheduled for the end of June.

Makes sense.

OLED screens cant power down so they could use the glow to light the back on standby.

an oled screen wil dramatically increase battery life too.
sounds good. not sure about the rubber back tho?

oled screen sounds good.

3.2mp camera sounds good but if its as s**t as the current one there will be no point, just to get bigger res pics but ones that still take a delayed picture FTL tbh!

Out of all of those rumored specs the only thing I care about would be the glowing apple logo lol.

With those rumoured spec's, seems like the Camera is still far behind most new fones?. I have also heard that the Compass & the Video Recorder will play a mayor part in the upcoming Iphone. Surely, its got to be HD Recording?!.

That Spec update IMO is hardly worth getting excited about. Sounds like typical Apple bolt a little bit on and sell it to idiots who have more sense than money. Not the Apple products themselves but the small tweaks/upgrades that get people creaming in their droves!

Sim-Free iPhone?

Who has one, knows an ebayer or website selling one at a reasonable price?

So far i've found about 3 Aus/Italian ebayer's selling them, but you're looking around £500 for an 8gb.
Can anyone better this?

By sim free i mean unlocked by apple in the factory, not yellown0w'd or turbo sim'd...I want to be able to upgrade whenever it's available and use my TMobile sim
