Anyone else annoyed by having to move all the icons from right to left cos of voice memos?

Where this push app?

There is no "push app". Applications now have the ability to register themselves to accept badge, sound and message events. When an app supports push you get an option in the settings on the phone to say what you will allow it to push.

It requires that an application has been written to support push.

well. that was total fail. its just stuck on connect to itunes. and doesnt even reconise it. it says "usb device" in device manager.. any ideas?

No Bluetooth?
No Zoom utility on the s**t camera?
Nothing else?

280 MB for a different text icon = fail

I can't download it, keeps throwing up an error after about 5 minutes saying the connection timed out.

mine upgraded fine lol, maybe its cos im on mac.... anyway do u need to be in a 3g area to send mms?? or can u send it wifi??

It made no odds mate, Im a mac too.

Still left mine for an hour came back and it authorised straight away.

Can anyone explain to me what push notifications are? i don't understand lol.

Applications now have the ability to have "events" sent to them without then running or requesting information, they're notified if an "event" happens.

This "event" can be:

1) A ding sound
2) A badge update (the numbers that appear on the sms or email app)
3) An on screen message.

Like recieving a txt message kind of, but for an application? so if u had a news application and a new news update came on you could recieve an onscreen message informing you?

ANyone got MMS working? I text MMS to 1010 but nothing!

I've managed to send MMS, but was sending to another iPhone and it hasn't worked at their end, they're waiting for a msg back from 1010 too. I didn't send one to 1010, but I got something from them when I originally tried to send an MMS.
