I was very pleased with how this one turned out, thought I'd share the process. Really sorry for the rubbish pics in some.

It was peeing it down when it was dropped off, so I got on with under the bonnet first. Products used :

Surfex HD
Lots of brushes
Lime prime
Amigo
Perl
Black to the future

Starting to look a lot nicer!

Moving on the interior, products used :

Chemical Guys Inner clean
Surfex HD
Autobrite Fab
Raceglaze Alcantara cleaner
Megs rich leather wipes (Not real leather but these leave it feeling lovely)
Stripper scent
AF air freshener

Next day she was rolled out for a damn good clean. You know the drill. Products used :
Surfex HD
Valet pro prepare shampoo
Elite snow foam
TarX
Kerrosol
G3 clay mitt
Sonax drying towel

Back inside, once fully dried she was taped up. Paintwork then assessed, quite sorry looking paint!

So, I started off with seeing what worked best using the lightest comounds. The majority of it came out pretty lovely by using just Rupes yellow followed by white, some needed a little more cut in some cases going to the blue & green compound. Refining, I found Rupes white on a finishing Optimum MF pad! Epic results. I also had a play with the Sonax compounds.

Windows were polished with Ceri glass then sealed with this little beauty!

The alloy wheels were wiped down, then cleansed with this! :argie: mmm

Once correction was completed at the end of the day, I went around and filled a few chips.

IMAG0751_zpsflpreyfb.jpg

Once correction, inspections were carried out I cracked on applying Escalte paint cleanser via the 21E on speed 2, leaving 20 minutes before buffing. Incredible flake pop this stuffs brings out, and the depth is stunning! Then came Master sealant via the 21E again, leaving 15 minutes before buffing to a crisp finish. I then finished off with 2 coats of Black Wulfenite spray wax.

Absolutely amazing job on that. Mind me asking what that drill attachment is for doing the exhaust with?

Some of your best work there Dawn, flawless. Love to see PA get used, great products and the company let them do the talking.

Escalate on wheels was extravagant though!

What sonus towel are you using? Not have a electric drier yet?

Did you use anything to strip previous wax etc off car before
Surfex HD and valet pro prepare will go a good way to diminish or remove previous protection. As will decontaminating with tar and iron removers like tarX and korrosol. Following up with a clay mitt and only a coating will survive that

Cheers guys. Indeed, by the time I've done the decon stage then the initial machine polishing it's definitely stripped already.

I've had the cones from China before, took about 28 days though. Still, a lot cheaper.

With regards to the marring I agree, that's why I will only use it if I'm going to machine.

Please pm if you require a quote. :)

Thanks

Lovely work! I've always wondered about the polishing cones - decent then, by the looks of it? What metal polish are you on to now, Dawn?

It's like AF Revive, but better. Nothing like c4 though, but does leave a nice finish. I only use it on the front trays & intake grills.

Great work Dawn, I'd get you to have a look at my BG if you weren't so far away! Just seems a shame to drive to you and by the time I get home it would be filthy again!
Actually, just looked - 2 hours away so not as bad as I thought, I'll drop you a PM for costs soon

That drill attachment looks like something in my recently deleted search history.

Didn't realise that you could get them that big? Not by the time I'm finished anyway.....xox

Good God marry me and that is based solely on the work gone into that. ha ha ha.

  Not a 320d
Part of me wants to congratulate you on the excellent work and part of me wants to make a derogatory comment about being a woman etc.

So confused right now.

On a serious note great work. Id of like to have seen more full car pictures. LOL at your car collection as well. Proper petrol head.
