hi all, thinking of getting this clio ive seen, i spoke to the guy and he sounds cool and it sounds also like a good deal however you never know!

Im going to outbid people i think so hopefully ill win but Im just a bit worried about rust really although other than the arches it looks alright, anyone have any views on this car? looks dodgy? looks good? cheers

I'd go & see it before placing a bid tbh, but as it only has five hours left on it, that might be a bit difficult.

It looks a very average example from the pics though (what I mean is, it looks the sort of car you'd get for £700)

alright guys... i ended up winning it after talking to him on the phone, he said its in good nick and he works for a garage... I know this becuase his email addess is @ his garage name so thats sort of proof too, I know i should have looked at it first but i didnt have long and he tells me its just the rear arches that are a bit scabby and he has done alot to it... anyway ill soon be on here whining about it no doubt! anyway im the winner of a valver after 24 years of waiting for one! cheers all

I have bought a few cars and bikes on e bay and to be honest all have been as described but if when you get there and its not you simply walk away.

128k is pretty high expect problems lol. alos looks a bit rusty probably 10x worse under the panels

I've heard of valvers being on over 200k, when the engines were stripped they only showed minimal wear. Valver engines (if looked after) go on forever !

yeah i had a look at it and the rust isnt that bad.... there is bit of rust on the arches but im going to get that professionally done for £130, the rust elsewhere on the car is pretty much nill, ive had a good look over it with my mate jake under the carpets etc and there is no rust.... anyway getting it on monday so ill know more then
