Optimistic Thermometer

The thermometer is giving a reading of 24 degrees c in todays temperature of about 12-13 degrees.

is this a simple fix, or is this a garage job?

It will be the sensor in the passenger door mirror. Pretty expensive iirc too. But I have a few 2nd hand ones

IIRC the sensor is around the £30 mark. Mine has been fucked for about 18 months.

just get a new mirror off ebay can usually pick them up quite cheap.. they have it built in from memory

it still gave a reading of 28 degrees tonight...its def not 28 out there.

Yeah, remove the mirror backing. Cut off the old sensor and solder the new one in.
