Orange spots on roof

Hi all,

Only been away for 2 weeks but now have numerous orange spots on the roof (nowhere else), which won't come off with standard sponge & wash/wax shampoo. Pressure washer won't shift the gits either.

Immediate worry was rust - but surely not on a 5 year old car - and only on the roof.

I've read about online and some suggest clay will shift the small orange residue left but want to check if that's the only way

sap or rust clay can shift both but if its rust you may be better off with some ironcut

Sounds like birds mess which has eaten right through causing small pin holes of rust.

I thought it could be bird shite but these dots are all over the roof!

I had the exact same on mine the roof was only resprayed 2months ago aswell, really worried me but a good hard polish with a bit of turtle wax did the job.
