Ordered locking wheel nut key.......

....and it doesnt fit. Gave them the code out the front of the service book, so whats the problem?

Just checked and there are a four more numbers in smaller text that I didnt give them and they never asked for. I didnt notice these before. These are different to what they have sent me, would this be the problem?

Suppose im f**ked and will have to pay out for another. Or will renault take it back and exchanged it?

Any advice/help appreciated.

Ok, I now know why it doesnt fit. Went into Renault today and they asked to see my service book. Asked me what engine size my car was so told them 2.0 l and he said this isnt your service book this chassis number is for a 1.2 clio. Wft!! He looked on the system for my chassis number and it was indeed different to what was in the book.

There is no way of finding out the code for my locking wheel nuts now so I am going to have them drilled out . Just one problem after another!

How could this of happened? Only thing I can think of was when the last service was done renault maybe gave the last owner the wrong book back.
