osram dot it as a replacement map light?

ok for those of you with the same problem as me in the mk2ph1 with the led bulb only working when doors are open and not via the switch unless u turn bulb around..

i was looking at the osram dot it led's which is a push light.. same white light..

does anyone know how big these are? as i was thinking of stickin one up there as a map light in the car now the switch isnt working? n will it look silly?

shud be ok depending on size..

or has anyone found a different push light that they are using for this problem?

Can the interior light not be swapped for a ph2 one? (I have never seen a ph1 one btw!)

im not sure .. does anyone know of it can?

its same one as in the trophys i think.. just the oval .. which does interiar and map light in one and not like ph2 which has seperate for map light
