Our Freestyle MotoCross Ramp...

Well over the past few weekends me and my cousin and a mate designed and built a Free Style MotoCross ramp! Took it all to his house thos afternoon, put it up and had a bit of a play!

My cousin wanted the first go so off he went, 15 foot gap, hit it low down in second gear....

It's set up to clear a 65 foot gap, we'll get to that in a few weeks maybe....!

Bike is a 2009 KX250 2 stroke, rapid!

(He's ok by the way, just winded and cracked his nuts a good'en!

You'd be surprised. My cousin on the bike is stupidly good, never got any other videos of him thrashing about but he knows how to ride.

I'm nothing special but know how to wring the neck of a crosser well enough.

By the way the take off point of the ramp is 8 foot, so he probably peaked at around 14ish feet off the floor...

Oooft I've done the same but on a BMX and not quite as high.

Hurts like buggery, you proper s**t it in the air normally when you clear the ramp and try to get away from the bike mid-air so well done to him for hanging on !

My cousin actually said he was going to work it out but couldnt be bothered!

The ramp is an exact copy of a red bull FMX ramp. But the downramp needs to be a lot longer / not as steep so modifications will occur.

Flat out in second gear on a 250cc will make you cover 65 feet according to the calculations.

i hit a triple on my crosser, flat out in 4th, got some serious air and landed a good 5m past the down ramp, mx suspension is surprisingly very very good
