Outlook keeps asking for password again and again

just come back to my laptop and there's a window open in outlook asking for my password. The password is there so I click ok and the window disappears but then it immediately reappears. It will not stay closed.

I've goggled the issue and one resolution I've found suggested going into credential manager and delete any entry in generic credential?

There is an entry called virtualapp/didlogical with a username of username of 02ldqcdaibrh. Is this malware?

who is your email provider?

in answer to the malware q - delete the credentials and see what breaks.

I had to go and change the password to cure this the other week.

I get this at work when I move between wireless networks. The only solution I've found is to shut down and restart.

Have you actually tried turning it on and off again?

Yes tried off/no and no luck. Tried resetting the password and no joy there either, so I rang my provider and they noticed something wrong at their end. It took them about 6 hours to fix it.

It did initially look like the email password had been changed (but not by me).
