Pad question...

This might seem like a stupid question... but I am after some new discs and pads for my 172 cup, I have decided to go down the Brembo HC route for the discs but was wondering what the real difference is between the Brembo OEM pads (£30ish) and the recommended Ferodo DS2500 (125ish)?? The car is used for fast road but am planning a trip to the TT next year where I hope to have a run on the mountain course.
Obviously there is approx £100 difference in the pads, my question is... is there a noticable (£100 difference) in their performance for normal fast road use...????

General brake pad questions have been asked lots of times mate, do a search. Ive got standard discs with ds2500 pads and they are awesome on the road and on the trackday i did. I will be looking to replace my pads and discs (allready got hc discs) before my next trackday in November so i will be in a similar boat to you. I will prob opt for the ds tbh, better the devil you know and all that.,
