Painted my calipers

Well im no mechanic as people may have guessed by me asking how to remove the wheel yesterday, but thought i would give painting the calipers a shot after seeing other peoples results...

Was looking for a cheap mod so got some hammerite smooth and a wire brush (around £10 in total)

I was quite tempted to get some decals, but wasnt sure if they would fit well.

It got too dark by the time i got wheels back on so will try take some pictures with wheel on this weekend.

IIRC, there are parts you should not paint over. And at first glance, it looks like you have painted everything. I'll let someone else who actually knows confirm though.

the only problem you might find is that hammerite might not withstand the braking temps and start to crack, really you should of got some high temperture paint looks good though

  Maybe a 172 Cup..

Is it any rubber bits?

Need to get a nice shade of yellow on mine...
Another job on the list...:)

Yeah try not to paint the rubber parts. Cant see it would do THAT much harm, But i just painted the metal, Not the pads or any moving parts.
