Did you just mask the "Renault Sport" up or go round carefully? Want to do mine but I've not got a steady hand lol

nah no masking, just paint the whole thin including the letters then once dry get a sanding block (get them from b &q, halfords ect) then just sand over it, makes the letters shinyer and before

thanks for the other comments too, very simple took me 15-20mins tops

Just to add, a piece of sandpaper wrapped around a piece of wood will do :D

Looks good that, tidies it up well as the plenum can get manky after a while.

Wish I'd painted my now instead of starting to polish it up.

i was in two minds on wether to polish it up or just paint, went for paint as it was cheaper haha

how come when i did it, i got loads of bubbles in the paint. where did i go wrong? i went for satin black.

Looks good! Time consuming polishing up the letters but looks awesome for the effort :)

What paint did you use mate ? will hammerite be able to withstand the temp under there ?

im not too sure about the hammerite, i used the stuff from halfords " high temp engine paint" it can hold heat up to 650c. there was matt, gloss, satin black red and yellow.

what did you do with the Renault Sport lettering? did you mask that of? I have a can of black sitting in my garage for over 2 years wanting to do the same like you but never getting arround doing it...
