Has anyone tried using some tissue paper rolled to a point, this can be very useful for things such as bullet lettering and stone chips as the tissue paper can soak some of the paint and give you a nice thin layer. Just very time consuming, but well worth it.
Exactly what happened mine 1st time!
I let the background dry fully & painted the letters with a very fine model brush yesterday.
Not a smooth finish as spraying it but has come out well I think
