Painting upper engine mount?

As above please. I’ve done the inlet manifold and fuel rail cover and want to do the mount to match. I want to do it properly though and take it off. To do this do I just support the engine with a jack/some wood blocks then undo the bolts? Also what is the safest area to support the engine as I don’t want a hole in the sump or any such emergencies! Thanks.

A bit of wood on the jack will help spread the load.

Support it on the side closest to the mount.

yeah just on it really, be fine, jacked mine up loads just on the rubber pad and not even removed the undertray, just make it have it...….lol
