Paintwork-Warranty or Not

Just noticed when cleaning the car that the paint work on the skirting right behind the nearside front wheel is coming off obviously due to debri thrown up by the front wheels (stone chip effect).

Do you think this would be covered by warranty or would they class it as normal wear and tear?

Surely this part of the car should be better protected?

Just wear and tear Im afarid.You can try but I very much doubt you will get any joy unless they value your custom very highly!.........Otherwise it would be a never ending spray job for them!

I heard that for the anti - corrosion / paint warranty to come into play, the corrosion needs to be from the inside - out, not the outside - in (via stone chip or damage)

So as with any warranty, they have you by the curly wurlys.

Not a hope in hell mate, Renault dont do better protected

They spray their cars with that little robot that f**ks around spraying graffiti evrywhere........you could try that actually....argue that youve seen the little fecker on TV pissing about, and he must have missed a bit.
