Panasonic FZ8

Anyone have one?

Looking for a camera with a bit more zoom than my ixus but dont want to spend loads on an LR/Lenses etc.

Seems to have pretty good reviews, and price is great seeing as the FZ18 is out.

Any user opinions would be grand!

ive got the fz7 which is the slightly older version which just had 6mp instead of 7mp which the fz8 has i think so pretty much the same unless ur taking MASSIVE pictures. still 12x zoom and all the gubbins

have taken some pretty good photos over the last 6 months or so

and on a tripod on eclipse night.......

the track photos take a bit of getting used to and most of mine havent come out brilliant so far but........ its getting better

Pics look great, tempted by the FZ18 but this is 100 notes cheaper and not sure if i need the 18x!
