Panasonic Viera TH42PX80B for £499 or LG 42LG7000 for £550

  Skoda Fabia Vrs 180b
Fancy treating myself in the sales and these two have caught my eye from currys

The Panasonic is only 720p plasma and the lg is 1080p lcd

I am tempted by the panasonic as I hear the viera's are amazing, but would anyone here reccomend either or give me an alternative for the same kind of price

cheers

IMO .. the panasonic even if its just HD ready not 1080p.

For a little more than the LG you could get an panasonic viera with 1080p and a whole lot of goodies. I'll see if i can find the link in my history!

Most definitely the Panasonic. If you can't afford a Pioneer then a Panasonic is the next best thing in the sensible budget tv's.

I think Panasonic Vieras are one of the best for TV's compared to LG, Samsung, etc.

I bought a similar model 42" a couple of week ago, but was the 1080p model.

Cracking Telly!

One I bought is --> Panasonic TH-42PZ80B 42" 100Hz PLASMA TV , I got it for £680 with free delivery from Dixons. You have just missed out on the 5% off offer they had on...

You can however get 2.5% off ( until 31st Dec ) with the code SALE25 and also DELTV will still work for free delivery! (saves nearly £20 on delivery).

Dixons should be cheaper than currys now! I have found them to be very competitive now they are online only!
