Panel or 57i?

The engine is totally standard in my 182, no mods at all. not looking to go mad, nor am I after major power gains, just a few subtle bits and pieces, one of my first is air filter...

what would be best to do... Just change te panel filter with an ITG or K&N filter, or pop a Induction kit like a 57i in to it??

advice please...

thanks dudes

I would recommend an ITG panel filter if your after a performance increase

Seems a very common choice panel filters are better than cones for the 172 if you go by the advice on this site

Taken from www.motorsportworld.co.uk.
Get yourself a PiperX panel from here for £31.34 (as it is the cheapest and hardly any different to the ITG from what I have seen)
A silicone elbow from Matt (Team Think) on here at £19.04
1m of hose to vent your crank case breather under the car for £2.50
£5 for some 70mm ducting to replace the acoustic valve and run a feed down into the wheel arch.
That should give you an ITG/BMC/Viper equivalent for less than £58.00.
You should notice a gain with this lot as well.
