Parrot Asteroid remote in for amp?

Hi,

I have bought the Parrot Asteroid HU for my 182 and i love it, looks smart and sounds awesome.

I want to add a subwoofer to it and only on closer inspection do i find that it doesn't have a remote in to power the amp but it does have dedicated subwoofer plugs. It makes no sense why they haven't put in a remote in facility....or have they and im being really simple.


If they haven't what are my options please guys (or gals). I want the amp to turn on when i turn the car on and off when i turn it off....dont want a long power gap at either end

Just run an ignition wire to the amp instead?

run it off the power cable on the head unit, i did this on my old unit it worked no problem..
