They should be reusable from your old ones iirc I used mine from my stock shocks on my coilovers :)

surely you wouldnt need them on coilovers? they look like a rubber "seat" for the springs... but i have no idea so i might be talking out of my arse! lol

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172
there a rubber seat to stop the spring from knocking.. you can re use them on a stock shock

ah cool... might get some new ones anyway, only a few quid.

thanks all. Oh and Maz, i would keep an eye on your shocks with the apex on... not good :(

  Lots of Alfas
Yeah Id get new ones Fubar, they are the rubber seat for the springs, they can hold a lot of dirt/water in with the spring and this is what normally causes the springs to rust and snap at the ends.

thanks dave, thats what i wanted to hear.

is it worth replacing the top half of the struts too?

tbh its been a while since I had my suspension off but from memory I dont think there is anything worth changing. All there is, is the metal top plate, the dust cover and a rubber mount.

yeah that whats it looks like on the dialogys.

ta dave, i'll order the lower shock and rubber bit. may as well get some new bolts too :)

Just use your old one its a rubber donut thing so that the metal shock and spring have some daming in them and they don't wear each other away and make a racket.
