parts needed! bigger pistons, wilder cams and a 1.6 bottom end

as above

need mainly the pistons and bottom end first..
where could i get them from? can anyone point me in the right direction?

as i have given my old 1.4 engine to this mechanic who has just finished his 1.6 vti turbo.. some pics below.. currently at the racing line in halifax for mapping. has quite a huge spec

anyway after callin me a pussy for not doin it he's taking it upon himself to mess around with my old engine as his next project. (i dnt think he realises that renaults are going to be harder to do than hondas) anyway his only problem is he cant speak english lol

so am asking this for him..

i assume im best ringing angelworks rite? anywhere else i could get them from? also what am i looking at for these price wise?

cheers

heres pics some pics, will post vids once they get the car back.. and since its going to be a daily car looking at around 300bhp according to the guy at the racing line.. they will be a scarambler button which will let u use the full 450 when you like.

IMo use a 2.0 engine for starters.

price wise depends what spec you go to regards rods pistons etc.

B en R would be able to help so migt Yozzasport and GDI.

edde: ive told him that, i think he just wants to prove to me that i could get reasonable power from my engine n al i need is to pay for parts as hell do labour free

Clutch will need to be uprated and the biox if your hard on it won't last long use a jc5 which is better but even that won't last if you give it any abuse.

1.6 Rally engines see in the region of 220 BHP with about a 1000 km life.

Cost - about 32k Euros for the kit.

More sensible budgets would be about £5k for around 180 bhp excluding the build.

y0z2a thats NA isnt it? This is a charged engine.

Ktec should be able to supply you with forged pistons, Cat-Cams for cams, ebay for bottomend

Ive heard alot of horror stories about The Racing Line. While a member of 200sx and FTO owners clubs, i was advised to avoid them many times. I hope they do a decent job with the Honda.

^^^ lol weve heard scary stpries too but been told for hondas hes best

hes still mapping and has said that he fixes one fault and another occurs.. current problem is the clutch wont take more than 250bhp but the engine is more than capable.. so currently saving for a new clutch to get it mapped properly
