2118'd Iceberg Ph2 172
Tried search, no luck.
After spending around £400 on PAS work over last few months, just took my 172 round the block and all of a sudden grinding noises start after a couple of corners, then about 30 secs after that there was PAS fluid all over the road, and almost all loss of PAS (heavy steering) and horrible grinding noises when using steering when sat still.
My first ideas, PAS pump? PAS pipes? PAS Seals?
A replacement steering rack was fitted a few months ago along with new pipes etc by Ren-o-tec in Chelmsford. I will give him a ring in next few days but I don't envisage that being any help (long story), so need to do it myself. Will get it up and ramps tomorrow to have a proper look, but what do we think initially?
