Passenger seat problem, Help please...

Its an annoying problem i have with a ph1 172. especially when people get in the back from that side because i pull the leaver and the seat should pull forward and then slide forward but now it only pulls forwards so u have to use the other lever and that gets so annoying. is there an easy fix for this or has something snapped??? anyone had this happen?

Mines just packed in too sometime last week.

Havent had a chance to take a look yet, but when I lift the lever at the top/back of the seat - very stiff - no seat movement. Its quite amazing that I havent snapped the bloody thing.

I guess it cable operated

common fault?

easy fix?

Mine went, it's probably the cable which has snapped.
