May upgrade my pc for this as i think its going to struggle

Atm i got:
Dell XPS 420 system
Quadcore(3 years old)
4gb ram
geforce 8800gtx gfx card (768mb or something)

Anybody got a good link to a good gaming pc that isnt overpriced because your paying for a name?

Gotta have either an i5/i7 processor and at least 1gb gfx card and 8gb ram. Oh and must be intel/geforce products.

Iv got around £800 to spend on it but im struggling to find it for that price

That's a good way of putting it Scutch. "heavy" when you with a G3 for example single shotted, you really felt the recoil and movement of the gun which defo seemed to be lost on B3.

Same with the character, the sound of the boots, the jangle of kit and speed/movement just felt right and heavy.

I think B3 is going to be quicker than BC2 anyway but hopefully they've pulled it back a little. With this EA NFL character thingy though i expect this to be sorted or pulled back to the BC2 side of things.

I built this on Novatech the other day and it came to £670 ish. Never did follow up the purchase. Awesome spec, TBH.

Yes its a retail 2 disk copy, you can check my gt now if you dont believe me. MP dont work right now..It isnt letting me and my friend who got the game for me went through the same thing. So I am just playing SP.

There is an option for a 1.7 (or 1.8 dont remember) graphical update. Despite what people think the game looks great without it. I started without it to see if there was a difference. With that said....DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE..with the update the game looks AMAZING..textures are insanely detailed and the lighting is top notch.. The story is really good so far. I honestly hope that MW3 is great if it intends to keep up in this arms race lol.
They are doing alot of things early to really show off the frostbite engine, namely a building collapsing on a dude lol

there has been alot of weapon variety that I have seen so far in my short play. I was playing it in my room with a bunch of my COD fanboy friends and their jaws dropped when I fired it up on my 52 inch lcd.
People who complained about the graphics on the beta need not worry. First of all they dialed down the graphics as they focused mostly on server stress testing. I can only imagine how this thing will look on pc. I am doing nothing once I get home from work other than playin this bad boy so feel free to ask some questions. If i had the pvr thing I would do a live stream but i dont :-(

Also they nailed the lighting..I got killed by some guy who had a maglight on his gun and blinded the lalalala outta me before proceeding to blast me haha

all one on blu ray disc for us ps3 users apparently! Cant wait! Ive just seen another multiplayer vid where they show you the base jump map! Epic way to start!

It is probably unfair that the two games are compared against each other in regards to Call of Duty and Battlefield; They are two very different games - one being an arcade shooter, the other being a strategic warfare game.

Essentially what you have in Battlefield is a squad and team based game where you need to use your head a good deal more than CoD. Stick yourself in a team of individual players running around grabbing 50 kills and you will lose, simple as that. Its all about meeting the objectives together within your squad and team and relying on a bloody good commander to provide support.

And then you've got vehicles - jeeps, tanks, attack choppers, and jets, all allowing for a fully encompassing battle to be played out on the ground and in the air.

Finally you have the destructable environments, and they aren't there just to look pretty. Having trouble destroying an m-com station inside a house because its well defended? No problem, just grab yourself a tank and blow the s**t of the whole house instead, thus destroying the m-com station and killing everyone inside. Having trouble pinpointing which window in the opposite building that sniper is hiding behind? No problem, grab the nearest Apache and just erase the building from the map!

There's no killstreaks here, no gunship when you get 11 kills in a row to fly around raping all the spawn points, no attack dogs, no stupid RCXD!!

Oh, and no f*cking quick scope.
