i am looking to spend about £50 on a new steering wheel for my pc mainly to use on f1 2010 and obv f1 2011 in september. my current ones steering sensor is dieing i think.

i know that the logitech stuff is good but its abit out of my price range really, the only one i have spotted is the thrustmaster ferrari f430 wheel.

Does anyone have any suggestions of good wheels around that price

IME the G25 (and now G27) are amazing with the right game. Maybe try and pickup a used G25? Cheap wheels are not worth the effort of plugging in.

It all depends on just how much use time you'll be commiting to the game and the wheel. I've got a G25 and tbh, I don't use it enough to reflect just how awesome a device it actually is. I've used with with F1 2010 and it's absolutely bang on for it. My nephew has got over 500 hours logged on Steam using a G25 on F1 2010 - lol.

If you're only having a dabble at these racing games, then buy the cheaper unit. But if you're planning to play multiple seasons and teams, then the investment is definitely worth the money. I used a Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback wheel for years, but the G25 and newer G27 models are in a different league of build quality and control feel.
