Petrol Questions

Got a mk1 and there is a really distinctive smell of petrol when I got my heater on. Any help?

Also I getting maybe 200miles to a full tank which is a pain in the ass! I think it has something to do with the injector but any help would be welcome

Something defo wrong their mate, put newspapers under the car, leave it for a bit, check if their is a leak from someware.

On teh MPi models tehre was a recall for the fuel pipes goign to the rial, some werent; connected on properly, but this won't have just happened lol.

Check the ruber hoses that come up from under the car to the engine, on mine they had started to crack, replaced them and tis all fine now
