Off to Peugeot in a minute to pick a coil up for the Vee,

Renault = 34.84 + VAT

Peugeot = 20.22 + VAT

Same part manufactured by the same company. Why can Renault charge so much?

Yeah I got my last 4 from Reno, somehow managed to get discount too? the chap at the parts desk just asked me what my discount was and I said I didn't get any but i'd like 10% off please... he said he'd do it without the VAT... Mint :)

So what Pug is your coil pack off of then ?

Are any parts for a 2002 172FF compatible/the sames as any peugeot Citreon parts ? :S

Nope no that I know of. The coil pack is out the of the 3l V6 that pug use, its either the same or very similar to the L7X renault engine. Its been done before ala the old 2.9 V6 engine.

Right, the part is made by SAGEM, same as the last one I got from Renault, but beat this.......

I went to Peugeot to by a part for my Renault and it came in a Citroen box. Got to love the French.

I'm pretty sure the engine in the Vee was a joint effort built by both Peugeot and Renault used in a number of models but I don't know which.
