am new to the world of clios but have been around them for a while as mate have had variations to them etc.
picked myself up a phase 1 172 locally to myself and proceded to make it my own. had ideas to make it into a track car, due to my last track car destroying its engine and loosing intrest in it.
the day i picked the car up.
and proceeded to start work on the inside. had my other project a pair of Cobra Evolution seats that i was going to fit into the clio
have now fitted the passenger seat aswell and completly stripped the back half of the interior out, ill be leaving the door cards headlining and front carpet as ive been there had a fully stripped car and as a daily driver its not particularly practical.
last saturday had my mate Dan come over and help me fit a decat pipe as he has experience with clios after building his mk1 hybrid etc. after lots of swearing and shouting we finally had it fitted. the car already had a cat back system fitted not sure what it is has twin round pipe possibly magnex, the decat has really bought the sound out of the exhaust and isnt overly loud which is a bonus due to track regulations.
painted the standard oz f1 wheels matt black which worked really well with the silver paintwork.
painted my engine cover black aswell
future modifications include.
coilovers
wrap the roof black and front bumper behind the number plate black ( kind of like the 200's)
polybush lower rear engine mount
v6 airbox and filter, with samco inlet hose.
matched inlets
remap.
