Ph-Caged

  Cup'd Monaco 172
If it was a "proper" cage the insurance would probably be expensive. I struggled to insure my caged 205 until I found the right company.

Looks good, but is it anymore than a show cage?

Well it's come straight from one of the MotorSport Vision track cars so yes I guess it has it's purpose

In fact the same cage is fitted to all the renaultsport cars in their fleet.

I'm insured through a specialist broker, no issues at all :)

It probably all you need.

The full cages you can get help stiffen the shell and give an handling benefit, but I guess modern cars are pretty stiff now. My 205 used to flex loads and fitting the cage, even without any other mod, you notice the handling improve greatly.

Totally depends on the insurance company, my welded in cage cost nothing extra to insure, but I had to do some phoning round!

Looks good Day, so is that car going to come next time then? ;)

Iain, why haven't you got one yet! lol.
