Ph Messed!

Very lucky lol I waited for my friends to come jack it up for me and put the wheel back on and pushed it back to my mates garage. There is a bend in the wheel, I bought these wheels yesterday from the car parts for sale section it describes the bend in the wheel there. Cheap but cheerful wheels but deadly! The wheel flew off into the air and nearly hit someone lol and the bonnet ripped open. Scared the sh1t out of me

I think the balancing went wrong and the nuts went crazy Im not sure. When I was braking the car would pull to the side with the bent alloys on

Why the f**k would you knowingly buy bent wheels and then put the bent one on the front?? Surely it would have made sense to put it on the back??

I said that to him but he said you cant because of the directions of the tread or something

wouldn't make a difference.....if its on the front in can go on the same side at the back.......

have to agree why would you buy bent wheels......lol

One of my wheels either is imbalanced or has a slight buckle.
Swapped it from the front to the rear and the car drives so much better now.

Unlucky for you, but bad place to try a scissor jack. Rear of car and front of car, or a trolley jack.

The bend in the rim is minimal as you can't even see it in the photos. I ran these wheels for a 1 year without issue. Its a co-incidence. It seems like you didnt use the right wheels bolts oy they weren't tight enough.

Either way sorry that this has happened.

Yep tpft and also havent checked all the damage. Bonnet, wing, side skirt and brake disc fucked but also under the car had water leaking. It wasnt thick it was water but confused whre from? gotta wait for renault to check it out or something =/

Im pretty sure they were fitted properly, I went to meet my friend HAZ because he lives 15 minutes away and we fitted it there without a problem.

BILLS BILLS BILLS :dead: :dead: :dead:

Good to hear you're alright. Very lucky not to have made it onto the dual carriageway.

I've read this entire thread and i still, for the life of me, cannot work out why you'd buy bent wheels, then fit them before even having them checked over???

I can't comprehend why someone would knowingly fit bent wheels onto their car... the mind boggles! :S

no sympathy.

I dont understand, the buckle in the wheel or the balancing out would never make the wheel come off, it obviously wasnt f**king tight! fitter error i would bet.

r u sure the bolts were loose or not tightened properly......easy thing to forget if your in a rush to get them on

looks like its gonna cost you alot to get ur car sorted.....one expensive set of wheels there
