PH1 16v problem

Hi Guys. I need some help with an idle problem im having.

The car idles fine at about 950RPM if its driven round below 4000RPM but if I thrash it to over 4000 revs it idles at 2500RPM until I turn the ignition off and back on again, where it reverts back to 950RPM.

Ive changed the TPS sensor as all the wiring was bare on the old one and still no better. Could it be the idle bypass valve thats causing my problem, or does it sound like a sensor fault.

No idea, but should be in the right section, might get more luck with an answer then

speed sensor on the cable on the back of the dials is what id check, common fault, make sure you have a good earth which iirc is the yellow wire although i stand to be corrected lol also give the iscv a good clean out
