Ph1 172 gearbox build problem

Hi, Im currently in the middle of putting back together a ph1 172 gearbox. Now im struggling to get the selector arm to sit in the right place, so all gears are selectable! Does anyone have any tips or a manual for this? I have searched and seen one or two people have manuals. Ive also tried looking over the net with no avail.

You've taken the box apart and are rebuilding it, or you've changed the box over in the car and now the gearstick won't engage?

The box is currently out of the car and apart. The cluster is sitting in one half of the casing and im now at the point of putting the middle casing on and aligning the selectors up inside the gearbox. I have tried a few dry builds and got no where.
