PH1 172 - Powerflex Dogbone Mount Bushes

Lately when going over 3k my car is making a knocking noise which is most probably the exhaust hitting the sub-frame

i have had a garage say that i need a new dog bone mount.

Can anyone direct me in the right place to buy one?

I was looking at replacement Powerflex bushes for the mount on ebay but they state they are for the mk2 and i have a PH1 172. Do i need the mount itself or replacement bushes?

I wouldnt recommend those as they cause more stress on the other mounts and the mount frame/bolts on the gearbox. The only place that sells them for a ph1 is renault and they are very expensive.

If you check the mount and see if the rubber is perished/torn. If not try adjusting it.

that should be the one

that looks diferent to mine so its possibly the 1 for a ph 1!, therefore a ph2 bush wont fit (i dont think)
