Hi

I recently had my passanger seat stiched up after an airbag went off... but its not the best and you can tell its been stiched, can you buy new covers from Renault?

It's probably cheaper to buy a complete seat secondhand. I think you can buy the covers though, but they are £££££'s !!!

Did you remove the cover to do it or just while it was on there mate?

I removed the cover. had to put a new airbag and module in too just to get rid of the airbag & serv light.

Any tips on removing? thing is on well tight :dapprove:....

make sure you undo all the clip then just slip it off, easy.

Can you not ask them to re-do the work? If they haven't done a great job I would've thought they'd have another go?

Just out of interest, how much was the airbag and module and where did you get them from?

Airbag and module was £30 off ebay.

Cut the the airbag ECU line no. 7 & the lights go out for free ...


Note: only to be used when converting to a track car as the airbags are usally removed, doing this on a road car will leave the airbags switched off so i'm told :dead:
