Hi, I'm Matt, I have just joined the register as I have a collection of cars. The most recent being a black 182 which I intend to use fairly regularly. But since January 2018 I have also owned a sunflower yellow 172 that I bought through a sports car dealer in Cardiff ( his son had collected a few clio sports but had sadly passed away so his father was selling off the collection) I see that it already appears on your lists, so here's some up to date info: Y174 UAY now showing 117290 miles, no alloy bonnet, currently on sorn, 9 keepers, then last trader and me both not recorded on log book. How many of these are currently are still about?

Ok, have checked out comments! I must admit I had no trouble with the guy, I paid a fair price for a pretty tidy car, inside and out with all history provided, initially he had given me wrong service books when I collected but I found the correct one under passenger seat full of history. He did tell me his son had taken his own life just b4 I bought it and that's why he was selling all clios as they had belonged to him

Great update for us all, we now have identified all 31 of the Sunflowers.
It appears we have 4 on the road and another 15 on Sorn. Sadly 12 appear to have gone to the scrapyard in the sky. so 19/31 remain.
If any new owners want to shout we can update the information further.

Yes it really doesn't need much, MOT on Monday then belts and I'll be doing a light restoration. It's only on 54k miles which is nice

Found another (sadly not mine) and it appears to have had a full engine rebuild in Q1 2021, a full detail (perfect reg for it) and then was sold in the summer.

Thats Matt Bishop's. Not sure of his user name on here. This was the Irish reg one that I also owned a few years back, The V5 change might be when he got the irish reg 'VJZ' swapped back to a UK plate.

It was Y372 NBU,
Went to ireland and got VJZ 7135
Returned here on that plate for a few years then Matt got it put back to a UK plate...But dvla cant assign the original Reg back to the car, So got an age related plate issued (i'm unsure what that one was) Then he stuck on the private plate it wears now Y30 WAX.
Hope that makes some sort of sense...hard to describe in writing 😅
