ph1 172 washer fluid leak

hi guys fitted my new front wiper motor today, took the washer bottle out gave a clean and refitted everything again.
now on testing the washers and alligning the nozzles to the windscreen i did use quite a bit of fluid and noticed quite a bit of fluid leaking underneath the car. there was drips coming from around the drivers headlight and near the rear of the undertray is this normal? ive read about people having headlight washer problems but i thought that was on xenons not on ph1's

can anyone confirm that this is normal and that it's just draining excess water!. any ideas or info would be great thanks
