Looks good, much prefer the non sport front end, will probably be removing my sport body kit come summer and replacing with non sport.

Thanks guys! glad everyone likes it :), there will be a few modifications to be done. only minor tho over the next few weeks :) so I will keep you all updated!!

Looks great man! Ordering my coilovers at the end of the month, got to just double check my bolt spacing!
I saw you mentioned you had your colour-codes done by Renault? How much was that/time frame? I'm hoping to get a 172 rear then get it, spoiler etc. , provided it's not silly expensive!

yeah make sure you get the right bolt spacing! always a good start! and I didn't pay for the colour coding as I work for Renault, only took 2 days tho.. but obviously depends where you have it done and how busy they are!!

Pah! I'm stuck with the front bumper as i dont trust myself to remove the trim alone and if I was getting the strips, handles etc done I cant NOT have bumpers and handles on the car, police would throw a fit. I think this calls for booking some time off work...! Out of interest - what was your spacing? All the mk2 coilovers I've found so far are for 58mm however I understand it could be anywhere from 52-58mm depending on how Renault were feeling on the day..My car definitely feels like it was done at ten to five on a friday in 2001. Wouldnt surprise me if they were both different...

yeah you would probably have to have the car off the road for a bit.. and mine was 52mm mate, which sucks because you can only get sh*t coilovers !!

Whats the colour code of your car? Haven't got my car with me at the moment but want to order the paint so I can do some work..

Right guys im in need of some help. i want to change all the Grey trims in my car to black, or navy, to match the dash and seats... now whats the best way of doing it? the bits i want to do are,

front + rear door cards
A pillar trims
B pillar trims
C pillar trims (ones in boot)
Boot lid trim
all the interior side trims, that cover wires etc..
Roof lining

now ive looked into flocking, which would be good for some trims, but with door cards it might wear quickly.. now do i paint them? or wrap them in material? and what colour shall i do? navy? black?

please help guys!!

I painted my door cards in my old fiesta with black enamel spray, looked awesome until it got cold and started peeling off in patches leaving it looking s**t lol

Thought this looked good on the retro stars but now it's just perfect. Keep up the good work mate!

Thanks mate, much appriciated, and as to the door cards, I would try get some ph2 ones, but I can't find many about, + I have manual windows so would have to modify the door card.. Think I'm gna look at painting them black, using a plastic paint and see how that goes!

I guess you could just repaint EVERYTHING to match, I've heard its best to do it all at the same time to account for slight variations in colour when the paint sets. All the trim is textured too right? So that'd need sanded etc.
Wrapping might be much easier imo.

I think I'm going to flock it all guys, in a dark navy colour to match the 172 dash and seats, + my carpet is blue, if it doesn't look good I'll think of something else..

just need to find what to do with my headlining ...
