Phase 1 ABS problem

Hi gents,

Just hoping to get a quick consensus on a brake failure for a phase 1, the ABS came on and pretty much took away all braking, the pedal vibrated slightly but close to nothing.

I'm planning to check the encoder rings ASAP but I'm away till Friday unfortunately, are the ABS pumps/valves known to go occasionally? Unfortunately brakes aren't my area!
